Horseback Riding
Program:
The
ranch
runs about 150
head of horses
and
mules.
With
that many
animals, there
is
a temperament
to match
the
skills
of any rider.
A
horse
is assigned
to you for
the week.
Beginner
instruction
is offered each
day for an additional charge
in
the new
arena and children
6 and
older
may ride
their own
horse.
Miles of scenic
trails, with
guests guided
by Western
wranglers,
wind
through
majestic
mountains,
surrounded by
timber.
We
have family
rides and adult
rides,
as well
as
rides grouped
according
to your
ability. There
are
sunset rides
on Wapiti
Ridge,
or Lava Mountain,
where
you see
the Wyoming world
in 360
degrees.
There is
a ranch
rodeo
and Gymkhana
for all,
with an awards
ceremony.
You can
see an abundance
of
wildlife
during your
rides
and
along
the river and
in
the mountain
meadows.
The ranch
recommends riding
boots,
however,
a smooth
soled
shoe with heels,
will
be
fine.
Cowboy Up!
For
an additional
$500, a program
geared for
the more advanced
rider is
avilable.
We trailer
you and your
horse
to off ranch
trails and
may include an
overnight
excursion
to our backcountry
camp.
Dude Program:
There is complete
program for
children of all
ages,
throughout
the period of
mid June
to mid August,
which is supervised
by counselors.
Activities
include
crafts, nature
hikes, fishing,
pony-rides
and an overnight
in the Tipi
Village.
Programs
are available
during
scheduled
AM and PM rides.
On other
times
, there is
additional baby-sitting
upon request,
at a cost
of
$10 / hour,
per child. Children
are cared
for
between 9am
- 11 am and 2pm
- 4pm daily
and
also during
some scheduled
evening
program.

Evening Entertainment:
You'll find
something happening every
night at the
Triangle
C Ranch, from Square Dancing,
Ranch
Rodeo, archery, Black Powder
Shoots, Tomahawk
Throwing, marshmallow roasts
over
an evening campfire, hay
rides or sunset
horseback ride on Wapiti
Ridge.
You can do
as much or as
little
as you
like.
Entertainment programs are
offered from
Memorial Day
to Laborday.
After that
date, evenings are more relaxed,
unstructured and time to
enjoy
a little
fishing or
walk through the Fall colors.

Hiking:
Triangle
C Ranch lies
in a hiker's
paradise.
From Lava Mountain
you can see
as
far as the
Tetons. Hike
mountain
trails that
follow mountain
streams
or walk through
the meadows
of wildflowers
and
experience
wildlife viewing.
Off-ranch
guided Hikes
are available
upon request
for an additional
charge.
Fishing:
Excellent
Fishing is
available in
the wind River
and at nearby
mountain
lakes.
If you're
a fishing enthusiast
you'll
want to bring
your own
gear. Some equipment
is available
for rent
at the
Ranch. You'll
need a fishing
license.
Guided fishing trips are available for an additonal fee. Pack
fishing trips
are available
by previous
arrangement and
can be customized
for your
needs.

Archery:
We'll
provide the
bow and arrows,
target
and instructor
at no extra
charge. You may
want
to practice
for the weekly
competition.

Pull
back some
bow strings and
ready yourself
for the weekly
competition.
Bikes:
Teen's
can do a
special guided
mountain
bike ride.
Blackpowder Shoot:
Travel back in
time with
the Mountain
Men
and shoot
black powder
rifles,
pistol and
throw the hawks.
Instruction
for all.
Canoeing:
We have
a
car top carrier
for
your
rental
car.
Guided
trips
are
available for
an additional
charge.
Golf:
There is
a 9 hole
golf course just
18
miles from
the ranch near
Dubois.
Cart
and club rentals
available.
You'll
need your
own transportation
for this
activity.
There is
an Arnold Palmer
course
an hour away
in Jackson.
Rafting:
Scenic
Rafting is
available on
the Snake
River and
is an optional
activity
offered on
Wednesday. The
Minimum age
is generally
4 years old,
but the rafting
outfitter
has the final
decision.
Whitewater and scenic rafting are available
but
are not
included in your
ranch
stay fee.

Swimming:
The
Wind River
that flows through
the ranch
has
a swimming
hole for those
who
want to cool
off. A polar
Bear patch
is yours for
being
brave! Our
new swimming
pool will be
under construction
soon!
SightSeeing:
On
Wednesday,
the ranch plans
an
optional
trip to Yellowstone
and Teton
National
Park. Transportation,
guide and
park fees are
included
in the ranch
rate.

ranch activities
are within 30
minutes from
the ranch, however
we don't provide
transportation
or personnel
for these activities.
